Arion, A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa at the Astir Palace Resort in cooperation with
the Embassy of Spain and Iberia Airlines will host the first Spanish cuisine Festival,
at The Grill Room restaurant from 6 to 14 May 2011.
Sergio Alonso, Executive Chef and Juanjo Claramunt, Assistant to the Executive Chef
from the hotel The Westin Valencia will be our guides on a journey through exploring
cuisines from all corners of the country.
They have created a specialty menu with symbolic dishes of Spain (see Photos).
The Spanish Cuisine Festival will be surrounded by classical Flamenco dancing, music and lyrics from the Andalucian area.
This combination of cuisine and dance will surely raise the passion and interest of the guests for the
Spanish Gastronomical Cuisine.
The Astir Palace Resort, home of the hotels Arion, A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa and The Westin Athens,
this past March hosted a Thai Food Festival with great success and has opened a new roadway to Athens
for future gastronomical events.
