Gastronomy Essentials Training
Under the Auspices of Cyprus Tourism Organization (CTO)
News - Articles
Next November, Gastronomy Essentials Ltd., supported by the Cyprus Tourism Organisation, is organising three new
High Gastronomy seminars in Limassol, Cyprus.
This decision by the CTO to place the "Gastronomy Essentials Training" under its auspices underscores the importance of
this event and its contribution to Food Tourism in Cyprus. Chefs from all Mediterranean countries will be taking part in the
seminars and, most importantly, Food and Tourism editors from European and Mediterranean wide circulation magazines will be visiting Cyprus.
More specifically, the "Gastronomy Essentials Training" events will be covered by Shaily Lipa, the well known journalist and cook book author from Israel,
Ekaterina Gelovska from Bulgaria, Vera Bresjanac from Serbia, Victor Calleja from Malta, Mille Madsen from Denmark, Marina Bellati from Italy and also
journalists from Egypt, Spain, France, Turkey, Greece and Cyprus.
It is worth noting that foreign journalists showed special interest for the "Greek-Mediterranean Creative Cuisine" seminar which will be held on November 21-24
with the participation of well known Greek Chefs Giannis Baxevannis and Mihalis Dounetas (the detailed programme of the seminars will be announced shortly).
This shows that Greek Cuisine has great prospects and the potential to play a leading role on the world food stage, if it is promoted through the right channels.
All the big players from the Food, Tourism and Media sectors in Cyprus are amongst the sponsors and patrons of "Gastronomy Essentials Training".
